relationships with the Chinese
The word "yuan" on a wall at a Chinese Temple
At the Zhujiajiao Temple west of Shanghai (about one hour by car), a Chinese classical "moon door" invites a visitor to go left or right. The Chinese character, "yuan," on the wall of the temple conveys pre-destination, serendipity, and chance in human relationships.

When people in China say that you have "yuan fen" 【缘份】(a tie made by Providence) with them, they are telling you that are sincerely delighted to be your friends or business partners.
